With US $2,000, I will learn French in France for 2-4 months. I am lazy, so immersion is the easiest and cheapest way to learn French fast.

With a little planning, anyone can afford to learn French in France and become conversationally fluent in French in 1-4 months.

Budget

– U.S. $700 for one-way airfare from Chicago to Brussels, Belgium, purchased with Kayak.com

– U.S. $400 per month for room in Lille, France, with the help of my friend, Marc, in France

– U.S. $150 dollars for food

I have learned French the easy way, I go to countries where I have no choice, I either talk French, of I do not eat. It is not hard work when you need the French language, and not just want.
